Volunteering
Our children are invaluable blessings that have been entrusted to us. For this reason, any volunteer at St. John parish and school is required to undergo a background check, sign the Diocesan Ministerial Code of Conduct, and attend one of the "Protecting God’s Children" VIRTUS workshops provided by the Diocese of Savannah. The Protecting God's Children VIRTUS training focuses on appropriate interactions with children, ensuring safety for both adult volunteers or employees and our students. This training is approximately 1.5 hours long and is conducted online.
