Congratulations Randa Gladwin, HOSA State Leadership Qualifier!
This achievement brings her one step closer to competing at the National level. If she successfully surpass this stage, they will earn the incredible opportunity to represent VHS at the HOSA International Leadership Conference.
Her hard work, dedication, and passion for healthcare have brought her this far, and we couldn’t be prouder. Let’s cheer Randa on as she prepare for the next challenge!
Best of luck to our future healthcare leaders!

Raymond Moody named National Merit Scholarship Finalist.
The National Merit Scholarship Program honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Over 1.3 million juniors entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state.

Congratulations to our SJCS alumni who were honored at the Valdosta High School senior honors night. Dennis Savoie, Paul Gibson, Stephen Moore, and Bryant Miley are all honor graduates this year, as well as Emily Hanna and Kimberly Kent (not pictured). We love watching you SOAR!
