BIOGRAPHY
I have been the librarian/media specialist at St. John Catholic School since 2013. Previously, I was the Lower School librarian at Valwood School before beginning graduate school in 2007. I earned my Masters of Library and Information Science at Valdosta State University in 2010. I am a certified Media Specialist.
I grew up in Macon, Georgia; received my BA in History from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio in 1992; and worked mostly in the non-profit and social work fields over the years before pursuing a career in Library Science.
I am married to Avery Moody and a proud St. John School parent. I love the warm, nurturing environment of SJCS, its academic rigor, and its emphasis on faith and service. I am thrilled to be a part of the excellent SJCS Faculty and to be able to work with teachers and students to promote reading and learning.
