BIOGRAPHY

¡Hola! My name is Stephanie Valpuesta and I am the Spanish teacher here at St. John Catholic School. I also teach K5, 1st, and 3rd grade religion as well. This is my eighth year teaching, but my first year here at SJCS and what a blessing it is! Previously I taught Spanish I, II, and III at a large public high school.

I earned my bachelors from Valdosta State University in Spanish Foreign Language Education in 2011. I then went on to earn a Master's of Education from Georgia Southern University in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Accomplished Teaching in 2014.

I am happily married to my husband, David, and we have two precious dogs, Ellie and Gracie. We live in Thomasville, Georgia and attend St. Augustine Catholic Church where we are active volunteers. I love to travel and experience new cultures. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited are Peru and Costa Rica!

I am thankful to work here and I look forward to many more years teaching the brilliant minds at St. John Catholic School!
