BIOGRAPHY

I am so excited to be teaching Pre-K at St. John’s School. I have attended St. John’s Church since moving here 23 years ago. I am a “cradle Catholic,” and through the years I have been involved in teaching CCD, leading Baptism classes, working on committees, etc.

I grew up in Pensacola, Florida, the oldest of 7 children. I received my BA in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education from Florida State University (“Go Seminoles!”); my M.Ed. in Learning Disabilities is from Ohio University.

Children have been my life: not only am I the oldest of 7, but I am also the oldest of 26 grandchildren. In addition, I have 3 children of my own and 4 granddaughters. I will love your children as if they are my own. I want them to be the best they can be, so I will encourage them to achieve all that is possible. At the same time, I believe school should be fun, so I like to have many special activities. I believe God led me to this job. When I am in my classroom, I feel as though I am where God wants me to be, doing His work.
