Cindy Moses, fourth grade teacher, was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. She earned her BA in Early Childhood Education many years ago. She taught first and third grade in Bedford, Virginia for 5 years before moving with her husband to Atlanta, then Macon, and finally Valdosta. She taught first and third grade in Macon, Georgia for 2 1/2 years and, after moving to Valdosta in 1984, taught fifth grade at Southeast Elementary. She taught third grade at S.L. Mason for approximately 18 years, Gifted for 3 years, EIP (Reading and Math) for 3 years, and fifth grade for her last 4 years at S.L. Mason and public schools. Cindy retired the end of 2012 after 35 years of teaching.

After floundering with retirement and empty-nest syndrome she was excited to return to teaching at St. John Catholic School in 2012. She has taught fourth and fifth grade during her 4 years at SJCS. She feels her life is teaching and she feels blessed to teach at SJCS.

Ms. Moses has one son and many small animals that she loves with all her heart. In her free time she enjoys reading and relaxing.
